Workplace

A workplace is the physical work environment which is very important and influential space to a person. A workplace influences the quality of work we produce. Everyone has their own requirements depending upon the work they want to do. It’s a space where we learn. Due to the current pandemic we all have changed our workplaces. Mostly people have started working from their homes and we all made some changes to turn our home into our workplace.
The workplace that I am presenting is the room where I work in the current pandemic situation. I have designed my room so the factors that I kept in mind before designing my room were lighting, colour scheme, materials, function, storage, comfort, ventilation, circulation and space utilisation. I have designed a comfortable multi- purpose space where I can sleep, study, paint, dance and watch TV. I have used design principles in my design to create balance of the elements, using colour to create unity in the design.

A Place to Think

In this project we have to design a pavilion which provides a place where people can work, study and think. A pavilion is a flexible architectural open space that invites people to come in and spend time in it. In this project we will try to create a space for thinkers who can come to this place to relax and enjoy the landscape of the place. Pavilion is intended to provide multipurpose social space where people gather and interact with contemporary art, music, dance and film events.
