Mathilde Gouin
Narratives are the stories we build to give shape to the world we live within. They convey values and norms and shape our understanding of, and participation in, society.
Dominant, singular narratives tend to reinforce inequalities and prevent change.
My work examines social and cultural narratives and their influences on societies. I seek to promote plurality in social discourse to give voice to underrepresented and marginalised groups through design.
