En·Tan·Gle·Ment Of The BLUE CAVE; Escaping From The Urban

Line layering, passing by each other, produces a labyrinth space which portrays a future vision. The project investigates a rural area in Thailand, where the site would be in or around the blue cave of a district called Mae Sot in Tak Provice.

The atmosphere here is feeling untouched due to the nature encapsulating the structure. This fosters a particular dynamic of energy, where peace and tranquility present could be felt, resolving distress caused by chaotic places such as the capital city.

This area is a tourist attraction that is starting to gain popularity. The town is known for its hot spring as the map shows water running through the ground. It is considered a rural location as there are not many houses in the area. Most of them are shelters for farmers to rest during their time in the field.

Utilising the cave as a source of reflection, the stone patterns set out light in different sequences with the shade of the rocks from grey to blue shifting continuously when strolling from an external perspective to within. This could be a space for public to come and retreat, exploration or used for other purposes.
